For nearly 30 years, I thrived in the world of design and technology, building a career in web design, digital marketing, and co-running a successful design and development studio, FAR Creative, for the last 14 years. During that time, I worked closely with a diverse range of creative professionals and businesses, navigating the unique challenges of combining artistry with entrepreneurship.

As a designer and business owner, I often struggled to find the right resources when it came to managing finances. Whether it was understanding taxes, planning for the future, or organizing cash flow, the lack of clear and relevant guidance at times led to less than optimal financial decisions and made them more stressful than they needed to be. Those experiences shaped my perspective and ultimately inspired me to pursue a career where I could become the provider of support I had once been in need of.

Today, as a financial planner, I use my life experiences to connect deeply with my clients. From running a business to putting kids through college, I’ve lived through the complexities and emotions tied to financial decision-making. These experiences helped me uncover and appreciate the critical role the psychological side of financial planning plays in achieving peace of mind and long-term success.

I’ve received training from such esteemed programs as FPA Residency and Amplified Planning Externship. I am actively pursuing my CFP® certification, having passed the rigorous CFP® exam and completing the education requirement, to deepen my expertise and better serve my clients.  Additionally, I am a proud member of these professional organizations: FPA, NAPFA, XYPN, Fee-Only Network and Advice-Only Network.

I earned a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts and am an award-winning photographer. I live in Brooklyn, NY, with my family and our dog.
